I’m single again. How did I end up here? No matter the reason; I’m single again.
I find a comfort in being single. Being newly single is a time for self exploration. It’s a time for self-discovery or rediscovering the parts of yourself you may have lost in the relationship. This a good time – no matter the circumstance. Take this time to fall in love with your self again, your own company. Take yourself out. Meet new people. Go to that spot in town you always wanted to try. Finish that book you’ve been putting off for months. Take this time to be free. Be happy. Let the hurt go, the pain, the questions. Do what makes you happy. It’s your time now. Be happy in your newfound singledom.
Go ahead and re-evaluate the things you want out of life. What are you going to look for in your next partner? What are you going to do differently next time around? What are your deal breakers? What do you need to work on internally before going out and dating again? Use this time to figure it out. Take your time. Do not rush it. Enjoy it. And most importantly, love yourself.
